Hello, we have installed the Data Timout plugin in the PBX Data Logger. We have created an event called TIMEOUT1 as shown in the documentation. Our settings are:

Parser variable = DATA_PACKET
Timeout = 10 Minute
Event = TIMEOUT1
Don’t generate events if no data was received = Unchecked
Generate events only once for each timeout = Unchecked

Now how do we use this event to send email in the Events Handling plugin?

Is it possible to extend that command with a "new folder" every x-time D/M/Y?

Answer

Yes, you may use the special command in the folder name like:

C:\Folder\{YYYY}{MM}{DD}

in this case the program will create a new folder every day.

Problem

Program does not recognize modules. I've installed several times with no success.

Solution

Possible reasons:

1. You've purchased the Lite or Standard version. These versions doesn't support plugins.
2. You are using different versions of the main program and plugins. In this case, the program will display an warning message in the combo box in the main window.

I have installed your logger on a machine attached physically to a serial device. However, when I try to create a device, I receive an error that my port cannot be opened.

Problem

I have a problem, with the plugin we have, SQL Database Professional fro Data Loggers. We are trying to run a stored procedure (Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2) but we are facing some problems, with a simple INSERT works like charm, but I don't know how to run a procedure. What we are running now is:

I am looking for data logging software that can take up to 4 different individual data strings at any one time. The data strings have more than 1 set of information within them (comma separated). I would then want to extract the data into EXCEL for analysis. Output rate we are looking at up to 4 times a second.

The PC has a MOXA serial converter to take the additional data strings into comm. ports.

Can two different programs access the server software. I'm using the OPC server part. I'm trying to have real data displayed while also historically logging the data. These are two different OPC connections.

Yes, of course. Many OPC clients can connect to one OPC server.

We have an alarm panel that prints out to an old dot matrix printer. We would like to capture this data on a pc. Will this product work for this application? How do we interface it to the pc? Gender changer and hook it to the existing LPT port on the pc? Can we view the data in real time?

I have a problem with this software when I access the option "Windows Service". The message error show below. After this message is not possible change the options about "Windows service".
