Protect data loggers to avoid people create or modify some configurations

I have a question related to Advanced Serial Data Logger's user interface. Is it possible to protect some options on menu?. Some days ago, in a pc with your software I saw two "COM 1" configuration. When exists two configurations that use the same com port, that only port is closed and it's not possible to read some data. I would like to protect your software to avoid people create or modify some configurations. Is it possible?

Yes, of course. Please, go to Main menu - Options - Program options - Security and select necessary options:
If these options are not available in your version, then please, download the latest version from our website.
